Boondog was founded in South Korea in 2020. Designed and made in Korea.
Boondog's own webbing is woven from microfibre yarn with twice the usual amount of yarn — so that fur does not catch in it and the owner's skin is spared. Not nylon, not polyester. Tensile test 5,212 N (approx. 510 kg) at the Korean testing institute KATRI. Exception: the Joy line is nylon with a PVC coating.
Curved acetal buckle by WOOJIN on collars and harnesses. WOOJIN is the world's largest maker of plastic buckles; acetal is the plastic whose properties come closest to metal. The Martingale Collar Wide has no buckle.
Every leash has an aluminium carabiner. Original and Play Leash: optional screw lock. Dual Leash and Car Safety Belt: A7075 alloy with auto-lock — the alloy used in aircraft construction.
